7 Reasons Why You Should Adopt a German Shepherd

Reason #1: It's more affordable. Well bred German Shepherds can cost as much as $2,000 for a puppy. Adolescents and adults can cost even more. German Shepherd rescues usually ask a modest adoption fee ranging from $100-$300.

Reason #2: You know what you're getting. Rescue organizations usually test the dogs temperament around kids, cats, and other dogs along with giving the dog a quality health check. Puppies can be a toss up. You never know what health issues might pop up later in life or how their temperament will turn out.

Reason #3: Spayed or Neutered already. The dog is already spayed or neutered which will save you the hassle of getting the procedure done.
